This week PDS CARES is happy to select She Has A Name as the 23rd recipient of a our 30 Years, 30 Gifts program for 2015. She Has A Name was nominated by PDS Client, Tori Short.
The organization formed shortly after hearing a story from the street about a “pimp” who was asked the name of one of his human trafficking victims, and he replied, “She doesn’t have a name. She is whatever you want her to be.”
Tori writes “This ministry has a tremendous heart and role in combating human trafficking and also bring hope and restoration to the lives who have been freed from present day slavery.”
Tori also shares, “The websites does not necessarily do them justice but the heart of this ministry is incredible and they ARE making a difference in human trafficking in Columbus. Any bit of money and support and awareness for this concern is critical for saving lives and bring restorations for generations to come.”
