PDS Planning has been named among the Best Financial Advisory Firms in 2024 by USA Today. Out of the top 500 Registered Investment Advisory firms (“RIA Firms”), PDS Planning is ranked 285th, making it the second-highest-ranked firm in Central Ohio, and the 12th highest in Ohio.
The ranking, conducted by Statista, was based solely on the growth of the companies’ AUM over the short term (1/2023 to 1/2024) and long term (January 2019 to February 24, 2024) and the number of recommendations they received from clients and peers. PDS Planning did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
Since 2016, PDS has been steadfastly committed to professionalizing the advisor fee. Since that time, we have stopped offering an asset-based fee, one where our fee would be contingent upon the amount of money a client has to invest. Our fee is based solely on the time, resources, and value we can provide.
We embrace the true fiduciary responsibility we have to our clients. Our focus is on creating tax-efficient solutions to enhance our clients’ wealth, not our own. By charging our clients a flat, fixed dollar fee, we avoid the inherent conflicts of asset-based pricing models, which is the industry norm. It has been our experience that the compound effect of these savings over time can be substantial
